You need to think in advance about what you want to photograph, and be able to answer the questions, where? when? how? with what? Because obviously, <strong>a photo taken in broad daylight won't look the same as one taken at dawn or dusk \ud83d\ude05 !<\/strong> <\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-0d99a53\" id=\"de-plus-vous-devez-vous-assurez-davoir-le-materiel-adequat-afin-de-ne-pas-manquer-dopportunite-comme-une-lumiere-particuliere-ou-un-point-de-vue-specifique-strong-on-a-tous-deja-oublie-une-carte-memoire-ou-un-objectif-pas-assez-grand-angle-par-exemple-&#x1f621;-strong\" data-block-id=\"0d99a53\"><style>.stk-0d99a53 {margin-bottom:50px !important;}<\/style><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\">What's more, you need to make sure you have the right equipment so you don't miss any opportunities, such as a particular light or a specific viewpoint. <strong>We've all forgotten a memory card, or a lens that wasn't wide enough, for example \ud83d\ude21.<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-heading stk-block-heading stk-block-heading--v2 stk-block stk-01d3461\" id=\"2-rechercher-les-lieux-a-photographier\" data-block-id=\"01d3461\"><style>.stk-01d3461 .stk-block-heading__bottom-line{background-color:var(--theme-palette-color-2, #a6003c  ) !important;}<\/style><h2 class=\"stk-block-heading__text\">2. Before you leave, take the time to research the places you're going to visit. <strong>Use maps, applications such as Apple Map or even <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/earth\/about\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Google Earth<\/a> travel guides, and social networks such as Instagram and Pinterest, <a href=\"https:\/\/500px.com\/discover\/feed\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">500px<\/a> , <a href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Flickr<\/a> to identify the must-see photographic spots. <\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-1f7a6cc\" data-block-id=\"1f7a6cc\"><style>.stk-1f7a6cc {margin-bottom:50px !important;}<\/style><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\">This step allows you to make the most of your time on site and avoid missing the moment or the image. <strong>A tip to complement this is to look at postcards on location to see and find other spots, and get your own versions of these photos.<\/strong> Sometimes this tip helps!<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-heading stk-block-heading stk-block-heading--v2 stk-block stk-207ba90\" id=\"3-choisir-le-bon-moment-pour-capturer-limage\" data-block-id=\"207ba90\"><style>.stk-207ba90 .stk-block-heading__bottom-line{background-color:var(--theme-palette-color-2, #a6003c  ) !important;}<\/style><h2 class=\"stk-block-heading__text\">3. Choosing the right moment to capture the image<\/h2><div class=\"stk-block-heading__bottom-line\"><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p data-block-type=\"core\">You've probably already read or heard about it: <strong>Light is a key element and is everything in photography<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p data-block-type=\"core\">As mentioned above, depending on the time of day, the mood and colour of your photos can vary enormously. <strong>Sunrise and sunset, known as the 'golden hours', are particularly popular with photographers because of the softness and warmth of the light. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-63af40d\" data-block-id=\"63af40d\"><style>.stk-63af40d {margin-bottom:50px !important;}<\/style><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\"><strong>Just before or just after we also have the blue hour<\/strong>if you want to capture some cool shots. Depending on the type of photos you want to take, you might need different lenses, a tripod, or even filters. Make sure you have all the equipment you need to capture the images you want, not forgetting memory cards and spare batteries \ud83d\ude1c ! You'll never get a beautiful golden sunset on a very overcast day! On the other hand, if you like photos with dramatic skies and contrasting black and whites, this is the ideal weather for you. For short periods just after a thunderstorm, as the clouds disperse, you'll have another atmosphere, and another contrast of colours... reflections... rays.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-1ffeae9\" data-block-id=\"1ffeae9\"><style>.stk-1ffeae9 {margin-bottom:50px !important;}<\/style><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\">Check the weather forecast to see if you'll get the weather you're looking for, and adjust your planning accordingly. <\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-heading stk-block-heading stk-block-heading--v2 stk-block stk-5515957\" id=\"6-scenariser-vos-prises-de-vue\" data-block-id=\"5515957\"><style>.stk-5515957 .stk-block-heading__bottom-line{background-color:var(--theme-palette-color-2, #a6003c  ) !important;}<\/style><h2 class=\"stk-block-heading__text\">6. Scripting your shots<\/h2><div class=\"stk-block-heading__bottom-line\"><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-567cbc3\" data-block-id=\"567cbc3\"><style>.stk-567cbc3 {margin-bottom:50px !important;}<\/style><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\">Depending on your style of photography or simply your preferences, to get photos that tell a story, it can be useful to script your shots. This paragraph is similar to the previous one, but <strong>think about the mood you want to create, the emotions you want to convey and how you want to showcase them.<\/strong>t. <strong>This preparation will help you to create images that are richer and more impactful, but that also reflect who you are.<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-heading stk-block-heading stk-block-heading--v2 stk-block stk-6f359a9\" id=\"7-sadapter-aux-imprevus\" data-block-id=\"6f359a9\"><style>.stk-6f359a9 .stk-block-heading__bottom-line{background-color:var(--theme-palette-color-2, #a6003c  ) !important;}<\/style><h2 class=\"stk-block-heading__text\">7. Adapting to the unexpected<\/h2><div class=\"stk-block-heading__bottom-line\"><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-892679d\" data-block-id=\"892679d\"><style>.stk-892679d {margin-bottom:50px !important;}<\/style><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\">Planning is all very well \ud83d\ude06 but it's important to remain flexible. Sometimes (or often) conditions can change quickly when travelling or out in the wild, <strong>the best photos are those taken on the spot, without any prior preparation. Be prepared to improvise and seize opportunities as they arise.<\/strong>. You might say it's luck here, but in fact it is, <strong>it's through preparation and training that you create this chance and generate opportunities<\/strong>.
