Depending on the species of tree, the soil and the condition of the leaf, the nuances vary greatly. So much the better for us photographers \ud83e\udd73 , it's magnificent isn't it \ud83d\ude09 ?<\/span><\/div><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-stackable-icon-list-item stk-block-icon-list-item stk-block stk-9df9529\" data-block-id=\"9df9529\"><div class=\"stk-block-icon-list-item__content\"><span class=\"stk--svg-wrapper\"><div class=\"stk--inner-svg\"><svg aria-hidden=\"true\" width=\"32\" height=\"32\"><use xlink:href=\"#stk-icon-list__icon-svg-def-cb171a3\"><\/use><\/svg><\/div><\/span><span class=\"stk-block-icon-list-item__text\"><strong>Human perception <\/strong>Our eyes often compensate for tones according to ambient luminosity: a slightly blue sky causes our vision to \u201cwarm up\u201d the tones. <strong>This is why what we see \u201cin real life\u201d is not automatically what the camera records.<\/strong><\/span><\/div><\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-13a7afb\" data-block-id=\"13a7afb\"><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">This difference between what the eye sees and what the camera captures is precisely the tipping point between reality and interpretation.<\/span><\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-6c690d3\" data-block-id=\"6c690d3\"><style>.stk-6c690d3 {margin-bottom:50px !important;}<\/style><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\">If we dig even deeper, biologically, each eye (and each brain) perceives colours in its own way: depending on age, the state of the lens, the distribution of cones (the cells sensitive to the wavelengths of our eye), certain deficiencies or even genetic differences (without going as far as colour blindness), there are variations in colour perception. <strong>And, believe it or not, this can be a creative advantage because everyone sees things differently,<\/strong> as a photographer <strong>why not capitalise on this uniqueness<\/strong>, The aim is to explore \u201cpersonal\u201d areas of colour, and give our images a colour signature that will speak differently to the viewer.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-heading stk-block-heading stk-block-heading--v2 stk-block stk-44adcc4 stk-block-heading--style-h1-standard\" id=\"2-capturer-les-teintes-automnales-a-la-prise-de-vue\" data-block-id=\"44adcc4\"><h2 class=\"stk-block-heading__text\">2. Capturing autumnal hues when you shoot<\/h2><div class=\"stk-block-heading__bottom-line\"><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"choix-de-lheure\" data-block-type=\"core\">Choice of time<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-9d5b919\" data-block-id=\"9d5b919\"><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\">Gold, the colour of a \u201cbeautiful moment\u201d, early morning or late afternoon, is an obvious choice. If you want to reinforce the \u201cautumnal\u201d atmosphere, choose a \u201ccloudy\u201d or \u201cshadow\u201d (warmer) WB, or adjust it manually to accentuate the red and yellow tones.<\/span><\/div><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-stackable-icon-list-item stk-block-icon-list-item stk-block stk-6393368\" data-block-id=\"6393368\"><div class=\"stk-block-icon-list-item__content\"><span class=\"stk--svg-wrapper\"><div class=\"stk--inner-svg\"><svg aria-hidden=\"true\" width=\"32\" height=\"32\"><use xlink:href=\"#stk-icon-list__icon-svg-def-25a208e\"><\/use><\/svg><\/div><\/span><span class=\"stk-block-icon-list-item__text\"><strong>Exhibition:<\/strong> Underexposing slightly (-\u2153 to -\u00bd EV) will give some contrast and strengthen colours, especially in light areas. But be careful not to lose detail in the shadows.<\/span><\/div><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-stackable-icon-list-item stk-block-icon-list-item stk-block stk-698f558\" data-block-id=\"698f558\"><div class=\"stk-block-icon-list-item__content\"><span class=\"stk--svg-wrapper\"><div class=\"stk--inner-svg\"><svg aria-hidden=\"true\" width=\"32\" height=\"32\"><use xlink:href=\"#stk-icon-list__icon-svg-def-25a208e\"><\/use><\/svg><\/div><\/span><span class=\"stk-block-icon-list-item__text\"><strong>Saturation \/ colour profile <\/strong>Some devices (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dragonstreetphotography.net\/maximiser-dxo-photolab\/#strong-6-nbsp-colorimetrie-presets-lu-ts-strong\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">or software such as DxO PhotoLab<\/a>) offer \u201cvivid\u201d, \u201clandscape\u201d and other profiles. These profiles increase saturation when the picture is taken, which can be useful, but should be used with caution \u26a0\ufe0f , too much saturation from the outset will complicate retouching in post-production.<\/span><\/div><\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"influence-du-ciel-et-des-conditions-meteo\" data-block-type=\"core\">Influence of the sky and weather conditions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-f34d812\" data-block-id=\"f34d812\"><style>.stk-f34d812 {margin-bottom:50px !important;}<\/style><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\">A uniformly grey sky diffuses the light and can \u201coverpower\u201d the autumn colours. <strong>On the other hand, after a downpour, a ray of sunshine breaks through the cloud veil,<\/strong> or an open clearing create good dramatic contrasts. Try to capture combinations; an isolated leaf bathed in a beam of light, in a chiaroscuro environment, or against a subdued forest backdrop... \ud83e\uddd0<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-heading stk-block-heading stk-block-heading--v2 stk-block stk-3e5bcaf stk-block-heading--style-h1-standard\" id=\"3-outils-de-conversion-raw\" data-block-id=\"3e5bcaf\"><h2 class=\"stk-block-heading__text\">3.
